It’s not too late to register for the 2005 Beltwide Cotton Conferences, slated for January 4 through 7 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Conference costs are $150 for Council members and $300 for non-members, and cover all sessions, says Paul Dugger, conference coordinator.

Suggested introduction cut two:

Members of the Cotton Foundation will hold exhibits Wednesday and Thursday during Beltwide. Dugger thinks the trade show offers great benefits for cotton producers.

As an added bonus, tours of the Southern Regional Research Center are available Tuesday, January 4. According to Dugger, researchers at the center are developing innovative technologies for cotton finished products.
