A defoliation method created by Mid-South cotton grower and scientist Dr. Hal Lewis works extremely well, says Dr. Bobby Phipps. Field trials conducted by Phipps at the University of Missouri’s Portageville station supported Lewis’ method when compared with common defoliation practices.
