Before 1967, publications were by separate research conferences as shown here:

Proc. Cotton Dis. Counc. (26th), Cotton Defoliation- Physiol. Conf (20th), Cotton Improvement Conf. (18th), Memphis, TN 11-12 Jan. 1966. Natl. Cotton Counc. Am., Memphis, TN.

From 1967 through 1990, publication was named Proceedings of the Beltwide Cotton Production Research Conferences. Use the following format.
