A.D. Cohick, B.W. Cook, and K.A. Ludwig

ABSTRACT

Following previous extensive small plot testing in cotton, a detailed program of cooperative testing with growers was initiated in 1985. This program included application of BAYTHROID by nearly 100 growers in the Southeast, Mid-South and Western cotton areas of the U.S. Primary boll weevil testing areas were located in Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana. Detailed observations on control of boll weevil bollworm, pink bollworm, tobacco budworm, fall armyworm were made. A review of the data and conclusions of this testing is presented.
