Small and Large Plot Results Using Metalaxyl + PCNB on Cotton Seedling Diseases

ABSTRACT

Efficacy data for the use of metalaxyl + PCNB for seedling disease control was summarized from the Ciba-Geigy database for a five-year period from 1988-1992. In large, non-replicated demonstration plots, metalaxyl + PCNB provided increased stands and yields compared to untreated or TSX. Data from small-plot field rep/cooperator trials indicated similar trends. In inoculated trials conducted on Ciba-Geigy research stations, metalaxyl + PCNB increased stands over TSX or Aliette/Rovral.
