ABSTRACT

In 1991 Cedar Chemical Corporation planned and executed a large scale testing and commercialization of K-Power applications on cotton in the U.S. Foliar applications on cotton have provided positive results in critical field trials. In field demonstrations many variables can influence the result. PMAP, a cotton mapping program was evaluated to monitor crop progress. Results of two field trials will be presented. In one replicated test the evaluated parameters were similar and at the end of the season yield and quality were similar. In the other test, where potassium was limiting, positive results were observed in the map data, the petiole data, and the end of the season yield results.
