Bacillus thuringiensis was evaluated in combination with Larvin, Orthene, and Thiodan for control of Heliocoverpa zea and Heliothis virescens populations in cotton. The combinations of B. thuringiensis plus Larvin gave about 83 percent control in 1990 and 88 percent in 1991 of H. zea and H. virescens populations. The B. thuringiensis and Larvin ovicide rate when used alone averaged 48 and 58 percent control respectively over both years. |
