Multiple Applications of Pix - A Three Year Summary

Bill Weir, Tom Kerby, and Carol Lambert

ABSTRACT

Twenty-six tests were conducted in California and seven in Australia during the three year period of 1987-89 to evaluate the effect of low rate multiple applications of Pix on yields. Twelve tests were conducted on 30" rows and twenty-one tests on 40" rows .

Highest yields were obtained on 30" rows when 1/8 pint of Pix was applied three times (squaring, first bloom and ten days after first bloom). Cotton grown on 38" or 40" rows yielded best when 1/2 pint Pix was a lied at bloom.
