Design Precepts for Towerless Drying Systems

ABSTRACT

This is a summary of recommended principles for the design of seed cotton drying systems which do not use tower dryers. New devices and arrangements are described. The benefits of towerless systems include improved drying effectiveness, improved grade and lint turnout and reduced horsepower.
